We are pleased to sponsor a local authors' showcase on Saturday, March 29th from 10 AM to 1 PM. A variety of local authors will be on hand with their books to talk to readers, sell and sign copies of their books. (We are still finalizing the slate of writers. Check social media later for a complete list.) This is a great opportunity to support artists in our own community. All proceeds go to the writers.

Game Night at Thornwell Books

On Thursday, March 20 at 6 PM we are hosting a TB game night. Bring your favorite game or borrow one of ours. You are welcome to bring dinner or snacks to enjoy. We will have our usual coffee, teas, hot chocolate, wine and beer options at the cafe. Even better, grab a delicious Ugly Duckling treat for dessert!

Trivia Night with Big Al at Thornwell Books

On Thursday, March 27 at 6 PM we are hosting another trivia night with Morganton trivia master, Big Al. In honor of the occasion, we have vastly expanded our beer, cider and hard seltzer options. We realize there are a lot of trivia nights in our area, but come give ours a try!
